Service Package 3 Details

FitAll 6.1 Service Pack 3 patches FitAll v6.1 to provide the following fixes and enhancements:

1. When doing an analysis using a linear function, such as function number 0011, the results were not always correct unless the first data point in the data set was included in the analysis.
   [Note: The vast majority of FitAll's functions are nonlinear functions and were not affected by this issue].
   This has been fixed.
   
   
2. The maximum value that can be entered for the "Max. circ. ftn iters" value in the "Preferences" dialog has been increased from 100 to 10,000.
   
   
3. Four new Solar Cell functions (numbers 0512, 0514, 0515 and 0517) have been added to the Standard and Research editions of FitAll.
   
   The new functions broaden the range of applicability of FitAll's solar cell functions.
   
   For example, the new function 0517 is similar to the existing function 0507. The important difference is that while function 0507 assumes that one of the two diodes in the equivalent circuit is an ideal diode, function 0517 assumes that both diodes are non-ideal.
   
   
4. FitAll's Help and printable, pdf, Guides have been updated to reflect the changes and enhancements.
